Dancing Spirit Center for the Arts relies on your tax deductible memberships and donations to create programs that  enhance creativity and fellowship, promotes the education, appreciation and enjoyment of the arts, and that celebrates the cultural heritage of our population.  When you join Dancing Spirit at any level, you become an integral part of bringing arts and culture to our community and your help supports arts programming for under-resourced youth and adults in our community.

Join Our Board of Directors

The Dancing Spirit Board of Directors meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at 2:00pm. They also have an annual board retreat to celebrate the victories and update the Strategic Plan. If you are interesting in becoming a board member,  please join us for a board meeting and pick up an application! Alternatively, one can be downloaded below and returned via email to dancingspiritgallery@gmail.com

Join the Dancing Spirit Volunteer Team!

Are you passionate about the arts and community? Want to make a difference while having fun? We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable volunteers to help with events, classes, gallery openings, and more at our beautiful new home in Ignacio.

Whether you can give a few hours a week or help out at special events, your time and energy will support creativity, connection, and culture in our community.

Opportunities include:

  • Event setup and cleanup
  • Greeting guests
  • Assisting with children’s art activities 
  • Helping in the gallery 
  • Administrative and behind-the-scenes support

Fill Your Plate for Art!

 Celebrating 15 Years of Creativity & Community at Dancing Spirit Center for the Arts


Join us for a heartfelt celebration of art, connection, and culture at our annual Fill Your Plate Fundraiser!
